At Chislehurst and Sidcup, we are committed to working with a variety of universities to offer high quality school placements to PGCE students in the London area. Over the years we have worked closely with University College London and Kings College London, along with the University of Canterbury and University of Greenwich. We offer a vast array of subjects which makes us a popular placement school for universities.
We have a robust student teacher support programme including a designated work environment, allocated Subject Mentor meeting weekly to discuss their progress and a Professional Coordinating Mentor who is responsible for their professional studies programme along with wellbeing. Professional studies sessions are delivered by a variety of colleagues across the school to give student teachers that expert insight to particular areas.
