Please note only children deemed selective following their Bexley Selection test will be added to our waiting lists.
As the school is oversubscribed for places, a waiting list is maintained for selective students who gave Chis and Sid as their preference but were not placed at the school by the London Borough of Bexley. A student’s name can only be included on the waiting list for Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School for Years 7-9 if they have been deemed selective.
Waiting lists are maintained for Year 7 through to Year 9. The initial list for Year 7 is received from the Bexley Admissions Service after the Easter holidays, the school is not able to provide parents with information until the initial list is received. Students will remain on the waiting list unless their parent/guardian gives permission to remove them in writing.
Please note that children passing the Bexley Selection test as an In Year applicant are also added to the appropriate waiting list. The lists are maintained according to our over-subscription criteria, please refer to our Admissions policies below.
Please note that it is not the school's policy to admit students into Keystage 4 ie once their GCSE studies have begun.
It is not the school’s policy to allow pupils to repeat Year 12 or Year 13; the school’s Sixth Form education lasts for two years.
